Product Specialist
Location: Olathe, KS | Department: Materials Group | Status: Full Time
Basic Function: Responsible for research, development, and purchase of products that best fit the company’s plans and needs in order to achieve growth and maximum profit. Will also be accountable for an assigned commodity or commodities.
Responsibilities\Qualifications:
- Review daily a suggested order report and determine whether parts need to be ordered or not. Determine the most economical quantities and scheduled due date.
- Place, monitor and maintain purchase orders with approved and preferred suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels closely and take steps to ensure overall level is not excessive. Achieve optimum fill rates and inventory turns
- Negotiate with suppliers to agree upon quality requirements, prices, payment terms, lead times/delivery, freight payment terms, or any other fiscal benefit for the company
- Closely monitor backorder levels and make sure all steps are being taken to reduce levels
- Prepare month end reports for management
- Able to determine electrical inputs and outputs (voltage, current) with a multi-meter
- Able to understand electrical circuits, create schematics or other drawings that document how electrical products function
- Render technical opinions and write/report results
- At least 2 years of college with 4 year degree preferred
- Computer skills in Microsoft products, including Excel and Access and knowledge of ALTIUM software is a plus
- Minimum 2 years experience in either the Material Handling industry, purchasing experience or research and development experience
- Some travel may be required to visit suppliers, customers, or to participate in a trade show

Regional Sales Manager
Location: California | Department: Superior Signals | Status: Full Time
Basic Function: Maintain and grow sales through customers within assigned geographical territory in concert with overall Company sales and marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales objectives within assigned territory
- Contact customers in person and via telephone
- Train customer personnel on IRMN features and functions
- Obtain and analyze customer parts usage reports to secure additional sales
- Follow up with customer and internal sales staff to address any issues or sales opportunities
- Self-starter needed to work with minimum supervision
Qualifications:
- Must relocate to California in the Los Angeles area
- College degree and 3 years experience in direct sales
- Possess industry knowledge and knowledge of electronic products
- Willing to travel 75% of the time on weekly basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to make public presentations
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Mature, detail minded and organized individual who can meet deadlines

Warehouse Openings
Location: Olathe, KS | Department: Warehouse | Status: Full Time
Basic Function: Maintain a productive warehouse by filling, checking, or packing orders and product.
Responsibilities\Qualifications:
- Responsibilities may include: pulling orders according to packing slips in an accurate and timely manner, verifying the contents of packages to be shipped, light production/assembly work, or loading and unloading trucks depending on job assignment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience a plus
- Stable employment history

Government Sales Specialist
Location: Olathe, KS | Department: Government | Status: Full Time
Basic Function: Establish sales unrelated to our exisiting products for various branches of the Federal Government. To sell and procure these commodities.
Responsibilities\Qualifications:
- Must have at least 5 years of previous experience selling equipment or hardware to government agencies, such as the defense department.
- Must be knowledgeable of all Microsoft Office sofware, i.e. Word, Excel, Access, and AS400
- Willing to travel to meet with suppliers, sales representatives, government officials and inspectors
- Must be conversant with government contracting procedures and ordering officers
